A beautiful little road winds through the beautiful Valle Morobbia up to the Alpe di Giumello at 1,594 meters.
The climb is divided into two parts: From Giubiasco, you first cycle through several beautiful Ticino villages to Carena, the last settlement in the valley. There follows a gravel section of about 1.5 kilometers, but this isn't a problem, as the path is fairly flat and therefore manageable both uphill and downhill with a little caution. After that, the road returns to asphalt, which then takes you up a rather steep climb to the alp.
