Since January 30, 1999, "The Shop" can be visited with the lovingly furnished goods from the old days of the 1920s on the original shelves and sales counters. You can take a look inside the shop through the peephole on the bakery door. The original goods receipt book, which Erwin Strittmatter kept from October 1945, is still on the counter. In the adjoining room, which once belonged to the bakery, there is a small exhibition dedicated to the family, the historical context of the trilogy and the work of Erwin Strittmatter. The museum is open from June 24th, 2021 to October 31st, 2021. Thursday and Friday: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m
