It wasn't originally on my route, but since the first battery was already empty, I looked for a place to recharge. So this church became the absolute highlight of the day, because another group of pilgrims arrived who, quite naturally, invited me to the service and a meal. It turned out that they were led by the Archbishop of Riga, who, during the service, essentially blessed me as a pilgrim by handing me one of the red baseball capes. Even as a Protestant, it was an overwhelmingly beautiful experience!
