The Enzianweg in St Sigmund is a circular route that runs around the entire village. Well you can start the tour z.b. at the church, and then follow the road up the road and turn right over the bridge at the disposal point of the village in the so-called Brandleitenweg. there, the lower Enzianweg begins, for the upper Enzianweg you must follow the road upwards out of the village, then turn right onto the old road, cross a bridge, then turn right to a hunting lodge. There begins the upper Enzianweg. Both ways, upper and lower, meet further down. There you have to decide if you want to go back to the village on a direct path, or follow the path further up and then slightly uphill follows the wide meadows below the village, and then later return to the road. There you can cross the road and go on the other side of a forest path that leads into the Gleirschtal easily. There you turn right at the bridge and come back to the village. The Enzianweg is spectacular in the middle to the end of April, because then in the open meadows masses of gentians are in bloom. A great spectacle.
