The Church of the Holy Trinity in Balobanovo was built in 1903 by order and at the expense of the merchant Lipin, who had a ribbon factory in Balobanovo. The temple is distinguished by its unusual architectural appearance: it was built in the spirit of eclecticism with elements of stylization of Byzantine, ancient Russian and Transcaucasian architectural forms. Particularly rare for the Moscow region is the orientation towards the architectural traditions of Transcaucasia, although the historical direction of the eclectic style, which dominated in Russian architecture in the late 19th - early 20th centuries, provided unlimited opportunities for borrowing from any tradition.
