The ancient village of Kozlyatyevo on the Lyubna River has disappeared from modern maps. They show the village of Polyany, near which there is a stone church, completely abandoned until recently. This is the church of the village of Kozlyatyevo.
At the beginning of the 18th century, a new one was built in place of the former Transfiguration Church. In 1756, a new wooden church of the Transfiguration of the Savior was built in Kozlyatyevo at the expense of Evdokia Nikitichna Polivanova, which exists today. In 1966, it was moved to Suzdal, to the Museum of Wooden Architecture.
In 1843, the new owner of the village, Count Valerian Nikolaevich Zubov, built a stone church.
