The Böblingen Waste Management Company, together with the city of Sindelfingen, has created a publicly accessible footpath to the "Dachskopf" viewing point on the former Sindelfingen district landfill. The approximately 800-meter-long route to the 553-meter-high hill, also the highest point in Sindelfingen's municipal area, was designed in collaboration with local residents, the respective local chapters of the Black Forest Association, the ADFC (German Cyclists' Club), and the NABU (Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union), as well as the municipal forestry department. Thirteen information panels along the path explain the history of the landfill. Individual seating areas and a shelter have also been installed along the path.
