                    At this location, the view is not really rewarding. There are better ones up there: the summit or the mountain station of the cable car.

                      The view is fantastic. We were there relatively early during the week outside of the holidays. Still there were a lot of people, but you got through well. The serpentines to the summit are also very nice and the ascent is therefore not that steep.

                                                Great view of Lake Walchensee on the way to the Herzogstand cable car in the valley. If the weather is nice and it's a weekend, you should start heading towards the cable car a little earlier, as traffic is expected.
