At the Hytermän Ulkomuseo, you can catch a fascinating glimpse into Finland’s past. This open-air museum showcases historic stone structures and artifacts collected by Heikki Häiväoja, known as Romu-Heikki. As you walk through the area, you’ll find beautifully crafted stone walls, sculptures, and relics that tell the story of his life's work. Set on this island, the museum is surrounded by serene nature. Hytermä can only be reached by water. If you don't have your own boat, you can hire a rowing boat and row a few hundred metres to the island or take a guided tour. You can only enter the buildings on a guided tour.
