Lodge in a beautiful garden, where you can watch countless Bluejeans poison dart frogs. Located on the same river and on the other side of the river, there is a jungle trail to a dilapidated chocolate factory. Note: Be sure to wear rubber boots and be very careful on the trails. We met on the way 5 very well camouflaged, highly poisonous Lanzenottern.

Absolutely worth it. I have never seen such a variety of animals (frogs, howler monkeys, toucans, sloths) outside of zoos. A large hanging bridge leads directly into the rainforest.

Those staying at the Sarapiqui Lodge do not have to pay park entrance fees and can visit the reserve across the Sarapiqui River at less busy times. Guided tours can also be booked at the lodge.
