We cycle east past the bus station until we reach the ramp to the pedestrian and cycle path bridge over Fritz-Erler-Straße. We cross this and keep right at the end onto Gerhart-Hauptmann-Ring, where we turn right. At the end of the street, we reach Kafkastraße and follow it left. Once we reach Karl-Marx-Ring, we continue to the right. Opposite is the large Neuperlach municipal hospital complex. At the Putzbrunner Straße traffic lights, we turn left and follow the road east.
After approximately 500 meters, there is a large green area on both sides. This forms the Trudering-Neuperlach Park Mile and is a five-kilometer-long green area that stretches from the Riem Landscape Park to the Hachinger Tal Landscape Park. This green corridor crosses and connects the districts of Trudering and Neuperlach and connects directly to the Trudering Forest. The goal of all Munich's park miles is to connect the city's parks with the green outskirts of Munich, while simultaneously promoting connectivity between the individual districts. The City of Munich plans to gradually develop the park miles. The Feldmochinger Anger and Südpark-Warnberger Riedel park miles, along with the Trudering-Neuperlach park mile, are the first steps in this project.
