    A rustic hiking trail leads here on the banks of the rushing Amblève - in German simply Amel - along. If you like, you can scramble on the big boulders to take a very nice photo of the middle of the river. Of course you can just sit on it and let your feet dangle into the water.

              The river here is dotted with huge blocks of quartzite, polished smooth by the force of the river. It bears the name 'Fonds de Quarreux'.
              Some blocks are so large that sunbathers spread their towel on them and fully enjoy the sun and the surroundings. Very nice walk along the banks of the Amblève.
