Hebden Suspension Bridge was built by local blacksmith William Bell and opened in September 1885. The bridge rocks a little as you walk over it, and is quite narrow, resulting in a fun crossing of the River Wharfe.

A beautiful bridge over the River Wharfe. It was built by Hebden blacksmith William Bell and opened on the 26th September 1885. Crossing it (particularly running!) is fun as it sways side to side, not to mention how narrow it is. You might want to make sure that when you're entering it, there is nobody doing the same on the other end...
