Considering that the route goes through an almost unused desert (1-4 vehicles per hour), the asphalt is pretty good. Unfortunately, it is extremely rough, like almost all secondary roads, but also has some serious damage in places. So you shouldn't let the beautiful nature distract you too much. Look at the pictures, you just have to have driven here! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to drive further than Bir Jedid, I would be happy if someone could document it on Komoot. It goes another 12km into the desert on asphalt before it becomes a gravel track.
