Olene is a great place to start or end your time on the OC&E Trail. If you're heading Northeast you'll have miles and miles of remote gravel ahead of you complete with desert & mountain views and maybe, if you're lucky, miniature ponies pulling people in small wagons. If you're headed the other direction then you can pack up here or continue a few short miles into Klamath Falls to fill up on any necessities or luxuries you may be in need of.
