Next to the Alhambra Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, this museum offers a fascinating journey through the history of the region, from the Paleolithic to the Modern Age.
Opened in 2003, the museum has more than 900 exhibits, including Paleolithic fossils, Bronze Age artifacts, and finds from the Roman, Visigothic, Islamic and Christian periods1. Among the most notable pieces are Iberian sculptures and a Roman inscription dedicated to the Emperor Caesar Augustus.
