The town of Chuansha offers about 400 years of history, but settlements have been here earlier. The old town still has a grid of old streets and alleys, the two most remarkable ones being Nanshi Street and Zhongshi Street
Zhongshi Street runs East to West through the old town and has a stone gate at the intersection with Nanshi Street.
