The central workshop, built starting in 1908, allowed all necessary repairs and maintenance to be carried out in the shortest possible time. The workshop included a locomotive workshop, a blacksmith's shop, a metalworking/turning shop, and a carpentry/wheelwright's shop. From the 1970s onward, trucks were also repaired in the locomotive workshop, in addition to steam and diesel locomotives. The workshops ceased operations with the liquidation and closure of the businesses in 1990.
