Coll Baix, or Platja del Coll Baix, is located in the north of Mallorca, about 5 km from the resort of Port d'Alcudia. The beach is located on the La Victòria peninsula,
also known for the remains of the old watchtower Talaia de la Victòria.
Coll Baix is an incredibly beautiful and remote natural beach, set in a bay surrounded by high mountains. The mountainous terrain makes the walk to the beach quite challenging, and the last small part of the 30-45 minute hike even takes place
over cliffs.

The reward for the effort, however, is great. Even on the walk to the beach
there are several places with stunning views of the beach, the bay, and the mountains.

The beach itself is 220 meters long and quite wide, making it a large beach.

It is covered with coarse sand, and the very clear waters quickly become deep. Outside of peak season, you might be lucky enough to have the beach to yourself, but on weekends in July/August, Coll Baix seems to be no longer an insider tip.

Very nice view of the bay, the descent is a little strenuous and sturdy shoes should definitely be. The last section goes over rocks and heels with sharp edges, there are no slippers to look for.

Coll Baix is an incredibly beautiful and secluded natural beach in a bay surrounded by high mountains. The mountainous terrain makes the walk to the beach quite challenging. But the chance is all the greater that the beach is not overcrowded.

When descending from Talaia d'Alcudia, it's difficult to find the way, some scree passages are in bad condition. The path currently has signs about the bad condition, but it is not really dangerous.

The deep blue sea of the remote beach of Platja des Coll Baix is wonderful. Because it is remote, the bay is not overcrowded, at least that was our experience. The sandy beach here is also somewhat untypical for the west of Mallorca.
