Gruba Kaśka – a water intake in Warsaw and a municipal well building in the Vistula River bed, which pumps water from the system of sub-bottom drains to the Water Treatment Plant (SUW) "Praga" of the Central Plant located in Saska Kępa, belonging to the Municipal Water and Sewage Company (MPWiK). Excess water from Gruba Kaśka is directed to the other side of the river to the Water Treatment Plant (SUW) "Filtry" of the same plant.

It is the only facility in Europe located in the river current, using the natural infiltration process.

Additionally, Gruba Kaśka is accompanied higher up the Vistula and before the Siekierkowski Bridge by two bank intakes, commonly called

Małe Kaśki.

The set of necessary installations is completed by two ships that constantly regulate the thickness of the bottom filtering the water. These ships are called:

Chudy Wojtek II and III and the Sawa dredger
