    After renovation, the hut has been open again since 2020 and is a popular destination for hikers, bikers and climbers. Magnificent views and delicious food.

        There is currently a construction site here.
        Please keep this in mind when planning your tours.

        The Falkenhütte in Karwendel is being completely renovated and has therefore been closed since September 11, 2017. This project is expected to last until 2019.

                  Even in October, when the hut is already closed, a trip here is worth it. The view is magnificent, but has to be earned: the last 200m to the Ladizalpe are tough. Anyone who has “organic” the entire Johannestal in their legs may have to push at least part of the way.

                                            The bike path up seems almost endless. The well-earned bike ride at sunset makes up for it, quickly making you forget the exertions. The cuisine also leaves nothing to be desired. Prices are at the usual Alpine level.
