The hut is in a fantastic location: almost at the top of the ridge that also marks the Austrian-Italian border, and the border runs right through the restaurant.
You can watch both sunrise and sunset from the hut (or its immediate surroundings).
Unfortunately, the overnight prices are also fantastic, although it is not clear whether the landlord is simply pocketing something or whether it is the Club Alpino Italiano's fault - in any case, as a DAV member you pay €17!! for the bunk bed!! You also pay a lot for special food requests: for example, we paid €16 for 4 eggs without anything (and please don't start talking about helicopter supplies)! There is no mountaineering food for €9, and if you want water for tea, you get moaning.
The landlord is not exactly unfriendly, but you can't grow fond of him, for the reasons mentioned above. However, you can hear that both mountain clubs want to do something at the hut and maybe even change the landlord...
My tip: if the hut fits into your tour, you should get excited beforehand and then enjoy the wonderful (and high) location of the hut when you get there.
