This trail is intended for hikers only and is completely (not only partially, as mentioned above!) closed to mountain bikes. The reason is
a) National Park area -> wildlife protection. The fast movement and noise of mountain bikes make wild animals flee
b) the 2m rule in Baden-Württemberg, the path is significantly narrower and therefore closed to MTBs.
Please just stick to it and be fair to the wild animals and the peace and quiet up here. Thanks.
