The VG Otterbach-Otterberg offers a Kneipp facility in Otterberg and one in Katzweiler. “The Kneipp pool in Otterberg with its foot and arm pools is always busy, especially in the evening. After that, you can rest on benches in the sun or in the shade,” says Carola Ibrom, head of the tourist information. The facility is open from the beginning of April to the end of October.

The highlight of my childhood. I used to go swimming in it as a child, but I didn't understand the point at the time. Today I visit this place as a resting place every now and then when I'm in Otterberg. Opposite the pool is the mountain, that's an old bunker. If you walk up there you can see it from the other side. There used to be no fence around it and we always played there and sometimes went in there to play hide and seek. Today unthinkable but still interesting to see. The pub area was sometimes a place for young people, so broken glass bottles were always to be found and a barefoot path was completely destroyed and dismantled. I hope that's not the case anymore... So far it's always been clean when I've been there in the last few years. Wasn't always like that.
