Borovik is an artificial lake located west of Đakovo. It was created by rebuilding the bed of the Vuka river in 1978. The lake has an area of 160 hectares with a depth of 15 m, a length of approx. 7000 m, an average width of approx. 300 m and a total volume of water of 8,500,000 m3. The village of Borovik used to be located on the site of the current lake, after which it got its name.
