I'm a little surprised that this wasn't already listed as a highlight in Komoot; after all, the cycle path was officially opened in September 2018.
In short: West of the K 1066 county road, this cycle path has a first-class surface, so you can move along quickly and without back injuries.
The terrain is slightly hilly, but without really slowing you down.
Towards Deufringen, the route is slightly downhill (~1-2% gradient).
There are benches along the path where you can sunbathe, as long as the road isn't too disturbing.
⚠️ There's enough space for two cyclists to pass each other, but you have to be careful of pedestrians, as it's a shared footpath and cycle path (sign 240).
Shortly before Deufringen, there is a pedestrian path with a "bicycles allowed" sign (additional sign 1022-10), which means that strictly speaking, walking speed applies.
From the bus stop (Deufringen Geißhalde) you have to go onto the road. On the left lane, out of Deufringen, there is a "protection strip" (which is useless anyway in my opinion); but not on the right. At least the gradient is a little steeper and the speed limit in town is 30 km/h, so cyclists can first accelerate and then go with the flow of traffic. ⚠️
