The area of the settlement is 9.88 km², while the average population density is 121 people/km². According to statistical data from 2001, 1,192 inhabitants lived in the settlement of Lužani, and compared to 1991, when 1,275 inhabitants were recorded, the rate of decrease in the number of inhabitants is evident. In the area of Lužani, we record 331 households with an average of 3.6 members per household.
