The Wackerstein is not one of the most famous, but it is one of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Pfullinger Alb. A rock needle with a summit cross is in front of the small rock balcony. Here you will find a great view over Reutlingen all the way to Tübingen. Even the Stuttgart television tower seems close enough to touch, despite the distance.

When looking from the Wackerstein in the north you siht you two striking mountain cones. The mountain cone on the left in the picture is the Georgenberg. This is a vent of the so-called Swabian volcano. The mountain cone on the right is the Achalm. This is a so-called witness mountain. He was formerly part of the albums panel. Reutlingen extends between the two mountains. In the middle right you can see the Schoenberg. The two-step rise in the Albtrauf can clearly be seen here, which is further amplified to the west in the area of the Reutlingen Alb. The icing surface halfway up the Albtrauf is formed by the White Jurassic Beta. The highlands cover the White Jurassic Delta.
