One of the most charming images of the town of Valdelagua appears on the way to the Mirador de Peña Huevera, where an urban mosaic of roofs and narrow, terraced streets emerge on the slopes of the valley, between the orchards of the plain and the steppes of the moor, the tower of the church of the Assumption appears, white and whitewashed like most of the facades. On Calle de la Fuente is the set of municipal laundries, a symbol of other times, and next to them three olive grinding stones to extract oil and some wine jars, displaying agrarian traditions in a beautiful urban space. And to savour them is the Wine Museum, in the Casa Grande, home to a local winery.
