The Chemin pèlerin Monasteriorum is an impressive pilgrimage route in the north of Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, which runs for about 30 kilometers between Dolbeau-Mistassini and Saint-Eugène-d’Argentenay. This path runs along the picturesque Rivière aux Rats and offers a unique mix of nature, history and spiritual experience.
The route allows you to trace the history of the Trappist monks who have been based in the region since 1892 and who contributed significantly to its cultural and agricultural development. The historical sites are particularly impressive, including the three former monastery sites and the famous Chocolaterie des Pères Trappistes, which still welcomes visitors today  .
The route is not only known for its historical and religious aspects, but also for its scenic beauty.
