Cañada de Calatrava is a small municipality in the province of Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. It is located in the Campo de Calatrava region and has a population of approximately 101 inhabitants.
This municipality is located in a predominantly flat area, although it has some elevations such as the Sierra Gorda and the Sierra Vieja. The Jabalón River, a tributary of the Guadiana, passes near the town.
Cañada de Calatrava has a rich history that dates back to the 13th century, when it was first documented as La Cañada de Moral. Its festivities include the Patron Saint Festivities of the Santísimo Cristo del Tránsito and the celebrations in honor of the Virgin Immaculate Conception.
