Mount Otvazhnaya is one of the peaks in the Zhiguli Mountains ridge, which stretches along the Volga for 75 km from Molodetsky Kurgan to Belaya Gora.
The height of the mountain is 303 meters above sea level. The name of the mountain comes from the village of Otvazhnaya, which was once located at its foot and fell into the flood zone during the construction of the hydroelectric power station.
The eastern slope of the mountain is a natural observation deck.
From here, a panorama of the Kuibyshev Reservoir, the Komsomolsky District of the city of Tolyatti, the Zhiguli Mountains (Mount Mogutovaya and Mount Shishka), the Zhiguli Hydroelectric Power Station and the city of Zhigulevsk opens up.
A popular route in the Samarskaya Luka National Park.
