There are 202 steps from the Philosophenweg to the Baumannshütte. The Himmelsleiter is a beautiful hiking section in the Eppinger Forest.

The ladder to heaven was built by the Heilbronn Alpine Club as a volunteer project. It leads up the mountain on the Eppingen line and is a "no alternative" connection from Eppingen to the hill in the forest and to the wonderful "Kraichgaublick" viewing point.
There are 202 steps, including the 13 steps directly below at the rest area. The steps are in a total of three sections. Every 10th step has a number. That way you always know how many more you have to climb ;-)
