The statue was moved during the roadworks. In the 1867 portfolio, the statue stands on the narrow side of the stream. Originally, there was supposed to have been a figure on each side of the bridge. The second statue was lost after a renovation.
On a foundation made of hewn stone (made by the Gera road administration) stands a square base with a moderately protruding cornice. On top of this stands the statue of St. John of Nepomuk. The inscription can be found on the front of the base. On the left side is the marble plaque with the names of the sponsors for the restoration. Inscriptions: Front: “St. John of Nepomuk. Nepomuk" On the side: "Starrein 2008 Restored by J. Bithan, M. Bithan, A. Gwirtner, R. Hahn, F. Neuhold, H. and I. Plessl, B. Wingelhofer, Starrein Hunting Society, Starrein Community Center"
