Not very long, but very nice path. Partially almost alpine-like. On the northern Trampler view of the Großer Feldberg.

The white wall got its name from the quartzite blocks, which shine white in the sunlight. They have freed themselves from the mother rock by continuous frost blasting and are lying, since they are relatively young in geological terms, without covering vegetation.

Sure-footedness and sturdy shoes are recommended. The path runs partly over loose scree and is not always easy to find. The view of the Feldbergkamm is great, especially in sunny weather.
When the sun shines directly on the scree field, you can also be nicely fried, with top and bottom heat :-).

The area around the White Wall has something mystical. Part of barren bare stones, while on the other hand everything is overgrown with moss. The view of the Great Feldberg is also a highlight.
Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are a prerequisite. With or after rain the steep ascent / descent over Wurzen and z. T. loose stones arduous because it is very slippery.

The White Wall in the Taunus is a quartzite field on the Altkönig created in the Ice Age, which was created by frost blasting. It is at a maximum of 634 m.
Beautiful trails around it with a view of the large Feldberg (if not fogged as always).

The small steep path past the White Wall should be rather high instead of running down when it is a bit damp. On the stones it can be a bit slippery.
