The scenery is beautiful – but "relatively bad" is putting it too kindly (well, maybe it was even better in 2019...) – to put it bluntly: It was the worst road surface I encountered on my 100-mile ride yesterday (March 2025)! Unfortunately, there really seem to be hardly any alternatives here...

PS: The truly disastrous section is somewhat shorter than the route presented here as a "highlight": It is located between junction 14 and the Bongarts farm (house number 103 according to OSM).
