The Chiesa di San Niccolò Oltrarno is a small, historic church in the Oltrarno district of Florence. It dates back to the 12th century and is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The church is located in a quieter area of Florence, away from the major tourist crowds, which gives it a charming, authentic character.
Over the centuries, the church has been rebuilt several times, particularly in the 16th and 18th centuries. Although the facade is rather plain, the interior features elaborate frescoes and altars. Particularly notable is the Baroque interior, which was added in the 17th century.
