Pozo del Zarzal is the name of an agricultural area and a spring at a confluence of dry and uncultivated riverbeds at the head of the Valderretamoso stream. The hike is interesting for the contrasts between the olive groves and the wild hillsides populated with brambles, wild rose bushes, hawthorns, tamujos and thickets of thyme, lavender, white flax, sage, gorse and rushes in the wet areas of the ravine.
