      In Niederwerdenfelser Land used to be a more or less coherent Hump corridor. This geomorphological peculiarity of the alpine area was partially destroyed by leveling. Around Mittenwald, the largest humpback meadow remainders still exist in the entire Alpine region. To preserve this treasure, the meadows are no longer leveled, not fertilized and only extensively farmed.

        The hump meadows with a mega view of the mountains. While the Megamarsch 2019 did not have a perfect view, I am all the more looking forward to a Megamarsch there in better weather :-)
