The city's Protestant churches are also within sight of the small Baroque chapel of the Virgin Mary from 1760.
A part of the city gate that used to stand here was used for the chapel.
The churches are
- the Protestant church of the Augsburg Confession (so-called "German Church"), completed in 1714, current form in 1834
and
- the Protestant church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (so-called "Slovak Church"), completed in 1715, current form in 1826.
Both churches are not open to the public.
