It is located above Hrvatska Kostajnica at an altitude of 205 m above sea level, and consists of an autochthonous forest of cypress oak, common hornbeam with gentle chestnut, landscaped walkways and a lookout point with a view of Kostajnica and the valley of the Una river.
The forest park was planted from 1890-1899. under the leadership of Davorin Trstenjak.
At the top of the hill there was a fort built in 1736, of which only traces exist today.
Some of the protected species based on the Nature Protection Act (OG 70/05) that live in the area of the forest park are the late night owl (Eptesicus serotinus), the white-breasted hedgehog (Erinaceus concolor), the wood shrew (Sorex araneus), the squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), the ground squirrel (Lacerta viridis), white-tailed deer (Anguis fragilis), viper (Vipera ammodytes), colorful salamander (Salamandra salamandra), soft-leaved boar (Ruscus hypoglossum), etc.
