In the middle part of Samui's west coast are the long, natural sandy beaches of Thongyang and Lipa Noi.
Compared to the busy north and east coasts of the island, it is almost deserted here, only a few tourists find their way to one of the often expensive resorts right on the water, as it is far away from the action and the nearest town is several kilometers away.
Nevertheless, if you love almost untouched beaches in their naturalness (including the plastic waste that is unfortunately everywhere) and also have the necessary cash, then this is the place for you.
