The fountain was created in 2010. It is called the Witoslawa fountain. The fountain is a simple, round basin, built of granite slabs. The basin is filled with water, and in the middle of it is a large stone with Witoslawa sitting on it. The girl soaks her feet and stares into the water, from which a nymph emerges.
The fountain refers to the legend of the daughter of a prince from a nearby castle. The girl was playing on the shore of the lake and was lured by water nymphs and kidnapped by them. She was never found again. The distraught father and all the servants scattered along the shores of the lake in search of the girl. They searched for many days, calling her name - Witoslawa! The water carried these voices far away, but when the sounds of the name bounced off the wall of the forest on the other side of the lake, the echo answered ... SŁAWA, ... SŁAWA, ... SŁAWA ... From that time on, the lake and the entire area were called Sława.
