The Liwiec is a left tributary of the Bug. Considered one of the most beautiful rivers of the Polish lowlands, in the valley of which high landscape, floristic and faunal values have been preserved. Its length is 142 km. It has two sources, the main one - southern (161 m above sea level) located near the village of Sobicze and northern located near the village of Zawady. The mouth of the Liwiec to the Bug is located in Kamieńczyk, a beautiful holiday resort located among dry, pine forests.
