The Čikat Promenade is a scenic coastal road on the island of Lošinj, Croatia, known primarily for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. It stretches along the Čikat Bay, which is characterized by crystal clear waters, pine forests and rich Mediterranean vegetation. The promenade is a popular spot for walkers, joggers and cyclists and offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea.

Čikat is best known as a resort town, discovered by Austrian nobility as early as the 19th century. Along the promenade there are numerous elegant villas and hotels, many of them in the Belle Époque style, which underline the town's historical importance as a health resort. Today, modern beach bars, restaurants and bathing areas can also be found along the way.

The Čikat Promenade leads through several bays and offers numerous opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. The fresh sea air and the scent of the pine forests contribute to the relaxed atmosphere that has attracted visitors for centuries.

Well, when the beautiful path is used by bicycles, scooters, pedestrians and strollers, it gets pretty crowded. Bicycles should be banned here. It's actually only nice to walk outside of the main season.
