You will find breathtaking nature and pure isolation at Wokkpash Lake in Stone Mountain Provincial Park.
The six-kilometer-long, turquoise-blue lake is located in the middle of high, glaciated mountain peaks. The fact that it can only be reached on foot or by air is a testament to how wild this part of Northern BC still is. Possible access points are the MacDonald Creek Trail or the Wokkpash Trail, both multi-day hikes that start on the Alaska Highway.
