Located at around 2485 m, framed by steep walls. From the Dun car park in the Pfunderer Tal approx. 1000 m and approx. 3 hours via the Obere Engbergalm (bar in summer).
You can hike from the Grindlbergsee over the Seescharte to the Weitenbergsee, which is about 1 hour away, and then continue over the Weitenbergalm (bar, sale of delicious homemade cheese!) Back to the Dun car park.
This round is also described as the Fundres Lake Round.

The ascent from Stein over the Gliederscharte is very strenuous. But you will be rewarded with wonderful views of the Hochfeiler (3509) and part of the Weißkarferner (glacier).
