The current church consists of two churches on the same site.Parts of the first choir from the Middle Ages are hidden in the church walls and under its floor. As the choir shape is unknown, it cannot be dated. The second church was built in 1590. In the 1760s it became too narrow and the building had to be renovated. Contact was made with the builder Daniel Hagman.Work did not begin until 1778 with Pehr Hagmansson as master builder and Simon Geting as master builder. In 1782 the church was completed next to the tower, which was built in 1816/17 by the master builder Jonas Ahlström.The inventory includes the pulpit by the well-known Rococo sculptor and sculptor Johan Edler from 1788. The altarpiece and actor are by Jonan Edler (1858-59). At the same time, Axel Gustaf Hertzberg made the painting "Christ on the Cross". The baptismal angel was made in 1842 by the sculptor Göran Sundin. The church can be visited from June to August.
