In Cyprus you can choose your favourite beach from over 600 kilometres of coastline. There are more than 60 beaches on the Mediterranean island. What is particularly attractive here is the mix of velvety sandy beaches and the pebbled areas that can be found everywhere in the magical Cypriot bays. The most famous place by the sea, however, is certainly the so-called Aphrodite Rock east of Paphros. This is where the Cypriot national goddess Aphrodite is said to have given birth to the Mediterranean thousands of years ago.

If you want to experience the best of Cyprus' many worlds at once, travel to Agia Napa. It is not for nothing that the former small fishing village has over 13,000 overnight accommodation options for package holidaymakers and individual travellers. There are many reasons for this: fantastic beaches with numerous water sports on offer. Lots of chic boutiques and good restaurants. The picturesque monastery, which is located right in the centre of the holiday resort. And last but not least: a vibrant nightlife that attracts the younger generation in particular to Agia Napa. Fun fact: The Cypriot early potatoes from the red earth around Agia Napa are said to be among the best in the world...
