The coffee roastery is an old establishment, one of the few historical coffee roasters in operation in Trieste.

The La Triestina coffee roastery is located in Piazza Cavana, one of the most characteristic areas of the old town of Trieste, in the pedestrian area.

The business was founded in 1948 as a coffee roastery and as a shop for tasting and purchasing green and roasted coffee, a service that is still offered today. Over time it has also specialized in the sale of teas, infusions and herbal teas, which have been added to the range.

In the coffee roastery it is possible to taste numerous coffee blends (also accompanied by a croissant for breakfast). The company also sells teas, infusions, herbal teas in packages of various brands, as well as loose blends prepared directly by the La Triestina coffee roastery.

It is also possible to buy packaged sweets of the best brands of the highest quality: chocolates, small pastries, honey, jams.
Those who love the tea ritual or need a gift idea can buy original items for tea: teapots, cups, accessories for infusions and much more.
